St Peters
A private St Peters backyard rebuilt from the ground up — the yard cleared and re-graded, an Ebony Granite porcelain terrace wet-laid around the pool, new lawn and garden beds, a full automatic irrigation and lighting system, and a painted Scyon Axon screen replacing the old boundary fence.

A full backyard rebuild
The scope covered the whole backyard. Sortino & Collier cleared the site, removed the northern boundary fence and hauled out roughly 20 tonnes of spoil to set finished levels for paving, lawn and garden beds. A concrete under-screed and 14 individual pads for granite stepping stones were poured over compacted rubble, with the house foundation waterproofed and slab edges sealed before tiling began.
87m² of APC Ebony Granite porcelain was wet-laid across the pergola and pool surrounds, with matching tiles over the granite steppers and coping jointed in charcoal Sikaflex. New lawn was laid over nine tonnes of sandy loam, garden beds built up with organic loam and compost, and a Hunter irrigation system, low-voltage lighting and 136 plants per the designer's plan finished the space. A painted Scyon Axon screen with Colorbond backing replaced the old pool-side fence.
Porcelain, pool and planting in one detailed rebuild
- Pool surrounds & coping
- Ebony Granite porcelain paving wet-laid to the pool, with coping jointed in charcoal Sikaflex.
- Ebony Granite terrace
- Eighty-seven square metres of APC porcelain tiling across the pergola and pool surrounds, laid on a fully waterproofed slab.

- Layered planting
- 136 plants installed per the designer's plan, mulched with Jefferies Forest to 60mm.
- Outdoor lighting
- TLI spike spots and bollards on a day/night switch, wired under the paving and edging.
- Scyon Axon screen
- Twenty linear metres of painted Scyon Axon cladding on treated pine framing, replacing the pool-side boundary fence, with Colorbond backing to the neighbour.
