Linden Park
A whole-property Linden Park garden delivered by Sortino & Collier — the back yard cleared and rebuilt around Chalford limestone paving and a spotted-gum deck, the front yard reset behind a rendered block retaining wall, painted picket fence and slatted timber screen, with Hunter irrigation, low-voltage lighting and new Kikuyu lawn tying it all together.
A garden rebuilt from the ground up
The back yard was stripped of the existing lawn, pavers and northern boundary fence, with roughly 15 tonnes of spoil hauled out. A concrete under-screed was poured over compacted rubble, the house foundation waterproofed and slab edges sealed before tiling began. 25m² of Eco Outdoor Chalford limestone was wet-laid over a Mapei-modified mortar bed, with 16m² of Tumbled bluestone cobblestones set into the steps and their top edge wrapped in a mild-steel edge. A 10m² spotted-gum deck on treated-pine framing was oiled and set flush with the tiling.
New lawn — 25m² of Kikuyu turf — was laid over six tonnes of 80/20 sandy loam, with four tonnes of organic loam and three cubic metres of Jefferies Forest mulch building up the beds. A Hunter system runs across both yards with four solenoids, a controller and nine MP rotor sprinklers. To the street, a rendered block retaining wall on a reinforced footing carries a 4.3m painted LOSP slat screen; a 5.9m painted picket fence with pedestrian gate and letterbox closes the boundary; and a painted Scyon Axon screen hides the clothesline beside the deck. Low-voltage lighting, steel edging and a galvanised mesh screen for star jasmine finished the works.

- 5.9m painted timber picket fence with gate and letterbox, plus a 4.3m LOSP slat screen along the retaining wall.
- Full irrigation & Kikuyu lawn
- Hunter drip and MP rotor zones across both yards, watering 25m² of new Kikuyu turf over sandy loam.
