Rose Park
A whole-property residential garden in Rose Park delivered by Sortino & Collier across two stages. The front yard was stripped, re-graded and rebuilt with a wet-laid stone path, layered planting and a new painted timber picket fence to the street; the back yard was excavated, paved with tiled steppers and a circular seating pad, and finished with new lawn, garden beds, irrigation and lighting.

A front and back garden, front to back
The front yard was stripped of existing paving, subbase and lawn — roughly 30 tonnes of spoil hauled out, the house foundation waterproofed and slab edges sealed before a concrete under-screed was poured over compacted rubble. 52m² of stone tiles were wet-laid over a Mapei-modified mortar bed to form the pedestrian path and house surrounds, with steel edging, four tonnes of organic loam and three cubic metres of Jefferies Forest mulch setting up the beds. A 15m painted timber picket fence with pedestrian gate and letterbox closes the boundary, backed by low-voltage lighting on a day/night switch and 9m of powder-coated galvanised mesh for climbers down the western side.
The back yard followed the same detailing — roughly 35 tonnes excavated, concrete under-screeds and rubble bases poured for the tiled steppers, side path and a circular seating pad in bluestone bricks: 40m² of wet-laid stone paving in total. 18m² of Kikuyu turf was laid over six tonnes of 80/20 sandy loam, with eight tonnes of organic loam and three cubic metres of Jefferies Forest mulch through the beds. A full Hunter system waters both yards — drip zones through every bed and MP rotary sprinklers on the rear lawn — with low-voltage lighting, a service-area slab and clothesline install completing the works.
